Old Ascalon Terrorized weekend.

Add monsters from areas like Lion's Arch or possibly the Crystal Desert into a part of old ascalon. Allow people to make groups of 8 to take down a couple of these monsters at a time, and enable cap sigs to be sold at the skills trader to beef up the little guys

Make some Dwarfes to biggest districts and then they randomly slowly walk to any PC and ask "Do you got any ale?". If you ignore Dwarf enough long Dwarf start attacking to player. Dwarf give reward if you offer he Ale and go to other PC.

How about a /kick playername emote just to try out one one weekend to see if it works? Also a guess the new emote weekend would be nice. Just add a few new unnamed emotes. It would be fun with everyone typing all kinds of words and phrases to find out the new ones.

I suggest the following:

Elite mission Double Kunaxai and Urgoz drops (so 6 people get greens), have very select monsters (Aspects of Kunaxai, maybe add an aspect of Urgoz), that drop one green at a rare drop rate.

Award a few amber or jades for a Quarry/Aspenwood weekend, to increase activity in those areas.

As posted as an idea of a sorts in prior posts, a "Threat to all of the Gods of Tyria" UW/Fow, where favor is not needed to enter UW and Fow, but instead of double ectos and shards, you almost double the monsters in the areas.

Have guild alliance weekends, where one weekend, rating is farmed by the alliance in gvg, and awards are given to the top 16 alliances (can be limited edition cape colors, some pve rewards such as a customized only weapon/offhand award). In other weekends, alliances compete for Kurzick/Luxon faction, where the top faction farming alliances for the weekend get similar customized only rewards, or even gold prizes, or rare minipets, something like that.

A titles weekend, where select titles get special treatment - drunkard title requires less ale, cartographer title has special areas reopened where they couldn't access (Tyrians exploring locked Canthan areas), luck title (bring back tickets for a weekend) champion title (applies to high level gvgs where you beat a 1300+ rated guild with double the reward, can be done even during an offseason to get rid of extreme rating farming setups), skill hunter title (you can cap any elite despite primary/secondary class at the time), treasure hunter title (double points), wisdom title (double points), alliance titles (double faction actually donated towards titles). - All to encourage pvp and pve in a weekend, and help restore, at least for a little while, the increasing lost sense of community to GW because of people leaving, quitting, idling because of inactivity, etc.

Run "experimental mods" weekend, where features such as LFG tombs and gvg pug guild boards are added to the game, even in game voice chat, for a little while, and use it as a way to get feedback on different features that may/may not be added to the game, before it is even fully implemented. Logistically hard to implement, but it may be possible for several features, as who knows, it may be done but waiting for the next chapter.

Other things for pve: rare material drop increase (apart from ectos and shards, that will probably create mass GW market crashing, uber market speculation = chinese farmers smiling as they sell more and more in game gold), have occasional drops for materials like deldrimor steel, bolts of damask, etc..

New greens weekends (to become permanent), where some old, unpopular greens (Sorrow's Furnace, Tombs pve drops) are replaced with new skins or by entirely new greens, or can be additional possible drops to their otherwise traditional green drops.

Pvp suggestions: Create a 6v6 arena.

Restore 6v6 tombs, double the fame, but bring back the old tombs layout/modded layout (2 team UW, 6 team Burial Mounds, 3 team broken tower, 6 team scarred earth, rest as the same layout, with a 5 team HoH each time).

Eh, since these are suggestions basically, I also suggest reducing the price of Prophecies/Factions after a given period of time, so that new players to the new chapters can buy the old chapters (I highly doubt many will buy prophecies at 49.95 at the online store if Chapter 5 comes out , but may at say, 19.95).

how about as a nightfall pre-release event, the elonians return to amnoon to 'kinda ask for help so to speak' and reopen the arena place at the back of amnoon and have some mini games there?

How about a return to Pre-Searing? Special missions could be given in the Catacombs or across the wall with the Char. Just create a character in Old Ascalon that will transport poeple there.

I have the best idea for Heroes Ascent...Make it RANDOM! Thats right random as in you go to Heroes Ascent and just click enter mission then you get a random team of 8... In doing so you eliminate the groups that can own you in 8 seconds and it alows people to have thier own personal build along with the 7 other people on the team. I really think this would be the coolest ever!

Or how about free-for-all weekend like huge battlefields where you have like everyone versus everyone and when you kill some one you get the exp and faction so you dont have to share it. This would be cool because you could have sweet battles where its EPIC!

There are several things that would work for me,

First as of right no there are no ways for u to get or finish the lucky or unlucky title why not bring a way for that to happen the top teir takes 45 days so we need someone to bring that back few a long while :P

Second the title survivor we need a weekend where we can do somthing to remove the death count, even if its only 1 at a time it would be worth it,

Beer ideas are good cuz 160 hours for the top teir drunk title is crazy, who wants to sit there for a week non stop clickin on the ale icon every min,

I also think they should give your somthing everytime u gain a title, maybe 5000k exp or gold or somthing

Make a weekend where specific rare skin items like Crsytaline Swords, Dwarven Battle Axes, Dwarven Hammers, etc have higher drop rate from the various chests they drop from

DOUBLE FACTION WEEKEND: Get double faction on challenges (attrum ruins, Zos shivros, Jade Quarry, Outpost, aurios etc.)

MAD SKILLS WEEKEND: Elite Skills on PvE has 2x the Duration (or maybe PvP)


MATS ABOUT YOU: Double rate on rare crafting materials drop on "non" UW map (to avoid the sudden drop of price for the highly coveted ecto and shard)

MONSTER WEEKEND: Double monsters count, which means double rate on drops (except unique bosses)

BE MY FRIEND WEEKEND: Players with minimum friend of Kurz/Luxons title has pass on outposts gated area where you can receive discount on merch or go to Elite Mission (HzH/Cavalon gated area)

Battle Isle Celebration
Come join us on the Battle Isle for our tribute to Balthazar!

Event includes;
PvP arena (like the dragon fest)
Flames and Medallions are back
30 Medallions -> Spirits of Balthazar (like the firewater), Strength of Balthazar (like brule and red beans)
150 Medallions -> Will make you look like one random god, not balthy. (30s? only in towns?)
250 Medallions -> Will make you look like Balthazar. (60s? only in towns?)

Ticket games:
The people on the sides use like a crossbow system of some sort. These games affect (Un)Lucky.
Small arena
A group of people (? max) enter an arena for a ? ticket cost. Some others are on the sides. The people on the side fire Flares (cost ? ticket) at those inside, hit wins ? tickets (and the hit person is ejected from the arena) while a miss the person targeted wins ? tickets.
Nine Rings & Rings of Fortune
Could come back. Or make something more interesting.
Something else
Another game, quick. Maybe even a GW themed Pachinko game for faster wins and losses.


Can make a larger arena, maybe give a snare spell for ticket cost. Trade tickets for Medallions? Some sort of balance would need to be done or trade tickets for prizes directly (probably better). Also a good time to release a balthazar faction Title . The look of the gods will come from the Dervish transformation, save coding and gfx time .

After School Special
For PvP:
-Make the PvP arenas into: a school (including hallways), indoor gym, outdoor gym
-PvP special arena: Lunch time food fight

For PvE:
-Special Mission: get to school on time (with special funny cinematics)
-Special Item Currency: Lunch money
-Special Item: Textbook, Comic Book, Bubblegum
Textbook- your character randomly spouts out random facts (counts as drunk time)
Comic Book- Read a GW funny (in comic book format)
Bubblegum- Gum all over a x-radius area - slows any character/NPC down by 33% while in that area.

The Search for Gwen's Diadem

Kill monster bosses for the chance they will drop the headpiece, Gwen's Diadem. While wearing Gwen's Diadem the /dance emote will create a mini Firestorm at your location. Gwen's Diadem is tradeable.

Any boss in Tyria or Cantha can drop Gwen's Diadem. Lower level bosses will have a much lower chance to drop it (so high level players can't abuse fast kill ability). Higher level bosses will have a higher chance to drop it (rewarding skilled players for their dedication). Or have drop chance matched to player level versus boss level. Gwen's Diadem should be difficult to attain, but not out of reach for a casual gamer. Only one Gwen's Diadem can be in a player's possesion at any time.

Amulet of the Rifts

Over the weekend bosses of Tyria and Cantha have a chance to drop an Amulet of the Rifts. This amulet will be just like the Amulet of Mists. Lower level bosses will have a much lower chance to drop it (so high level players can't abuse fast kill ability). Higher level bosses will have a higher chance to drop it (rewarding skilled players for their dedication). Or have drop chance matched to player level versus boss level.

Create some useful, but not top level (well maybe), greens that can be traded at a Weapons Crafter for an Amulet of the Rifts. These greens will be of elaborate skins contributed by the game community, much like the Design A Weapon Contest.

A Farming Weekend... only thing that changes is no aoe run trigger, no rendenchants in UW/FoW , no scarabs in desert and something like 50% more chests.

This gives everyone 48hrs to earn what they can like days of old. This also puts alot of rare skins into the market but not enough to flood it.

Let the new comers feel what is was like to be an original " 55 "
